Measure & mark
Tape measure + spirit level. Mark vertical guidelines on a dry, dust-free wall (plasterboard, brick, concrete or battens).
Cut to size
If trimming, use a fine-toothed handsaw across the slats and a sharp Stanley knife to slice the felt. Always wear a mask and goggles.
Fix to the wall
Apply high-grab cladding adhesive in a zig-zag pattern, or use 38 mm black drywall screws every 200 mm through the felt.
Finish the edges
Slot the next panel's felt lip beneath the previous slat — joins disappear. Finish exposed edges with a matching walnut end trim.

Can I cut the panel to fit my wall?

Is it suitable for bathrooms or kitchens?
Not for bathrooms, shower areas, or any damp/humid environment — the MDF core and felt are not waterproof. Kitchens are fine away from sinks and hobs (avoid direct steam and water splash zones).
Can I install over wallpaper?
Yes — but use 38 mm black drywall screws into the substrate behind the wallpaper. Adhesive on wallpaper is unreliable, as wallpaper paste cannot guarantee the bond strength needed for the panel weight.
